Fownhope Medical Centre provides family medical and dispensing services to a widely dispersed population of approximately 5,800 patients. The practice area extends as far as Hereford and to the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury.

The surgery has 9 consulting rooms, a large car park and spacious waiting areas for patients.

The dispensary is able to issue prescriptions to patients who live more than 1 mile from a pharmacy, this means the centre dispenses to approximately 95% of their patients. In addition they have a dispensary for out of hours collections and a home delivery service for those patients who find it difficult to make collections in person.
