Fownhope is an area of outstanding natural beauty on the banks of the River Wye

Fownhope is a vibrant village, home to a range of pubs, hotels, local businesses, a modern leisure centre, a village hall and a recreation/sports field and pavilion. The village has a welcoming, communal feel and there are many events and societies held throughout the year where villagers, young and old, get together. It boasts many beautiful walks on the hills and banks along the river including the nearby Wye Valley Walk.
